Hey tell what you think, not sure if I should post it at Gnomon.

  1. Hopefully we all tear into each others work to help each other improve. I love the angle of the pose which is something really hard to accomplish. Most of my suggestions Im not even Im 100% they would help, maybe try some on a different layer and see if they look good.

The rays of light, try when they get towards us (the bottom) making them get brighter and possibly more white.

The rocks I would think would be mostly dark since they are underneath her. This will also make the beam stand out more I would hope. (Basically consider some more intense shadows in that area)

Maybe some low opacity clouds near the bottom of the sky behind her. Not near the sun or her face though, just around the legs area.

Though you have modeled her well with the painting, green and cooler blue green shadows. I feel something is missing when it comes to color vertically and I cant quite put my finger on it. I think as we come closer to the viewer or away from the viewer there would not only be value change, there should be a very slight color shift. I would assume cooler colors the farther away but I dont know.

The lens flare on the right side, try making it bigger and farther out to the right to eat some of that negative space some more. Might look good it might not. Try not to make it look like a PS lens flare.

I like the the sig. I still need a decent sig. I would post it on Gnomon, its good to start getting your name seen I would think on the sight. Cant hurt.
